Basis Point Group Opens London Office, Expands Global Team

Charles Brewer, Fran Sullivan Join BPG, Add Banking and Insurance Capability

Boston, MA – November 29, 2005 — Basis Point Group, LLC, (BPG) the leading global investment operations performance consultants, today announced that Francis Sullivan and Charles Brewer have joined their London-based independent consulting practice with BPG. Sullivan and Brewer will be partners of BPG, opening the firmÕs London office.

Sullivan is an expert at improving operations performance with in-depth knowledge of process and technology metrics within the insurance industry. He has served in the financial services industries in the UK, Europe and the Far East for more than twenty years. In his new role at BPG, he will leverage this knowledge to achieve radical performance improvements for clients. Sullivan has been involved in a number of regulatory change-driven transformations in the London market, demonstrating first-hand how metric-based analysis compliments mandated changes to drive down costs and improve profitability and performance. Sullivan has held senior positions at PriceWaterhouse and Arthur D Little and until recently served as the interim nonexecutive Chairman of one of South Korea's foremost Insurance and Brokerage firms and is a qualified Barrister at the Inner Temple of the Bar in London.

Charles Brewer brings a wealth of knowledge about trading operations and front office technology to BPG. His considerable experience managing IT infrastructure for many of the worldÕs largest banking and insurance companies adds considerable depth to Basis Point GroupÕs operations and technology client support. Brewer has held senior positions in the financial sector, in the UK, USA, Western and Central Europe. He has served as a consultant for Arthur Andersen, Price Waterhouse, Merrill Lynch and other firms, in wholesale, commercial and international banking, and in supranational and regulatory institutions including an assignment as program director for the Bank for International Settlements, Basel. BrewerÕs focus on integration architectures for preserving value in legacy applications have achieved demonstrable improvements in operating efficiency for in banks and other financial institutions clients. He has frequently acted as an advisor on business strategy for treasury and securities systems and operations, foreign exchange trading and settlement, securities and derivatives trading and settlement and dealing room information feeds, analytics systems, and trade capture systems.
